If you have made it here then you are probably either a search engine or someone actually looking for or interested in clothing optional venues and locations.  We are building a directory of clothing optional venues and locations starting off in the UK as we have found a lack of readily available information on places to visit, events to attend or clubs to join that cater for or tolerate clothing optional needs as opposed to textile or completely naturist venues.  As an example, one clothing optional camping site in the UK we have visited which really is “clothing-optional” rather than compulsory naturist is the Bolding Way camp site in North Norfolk.  The founder of this site is one of a large number of couples in the UK that have a naturist and a textile member and whilst it is now easy to find events and locations to visit for purely naturist couples it is far more difficult to find places to visit that tolerate one half of a couple naturist and the other half textile.  This often leads to the naturist in the couple having to either attend events alone or only able to attend textile events, neither of which is usually desirable if one wishes to live a more naturist lifestyle.

The founder of the site has been a naturist for over 20 years but has only recently attended his first organised naturist event despite 20+ years of visiting clothing optional beaches with his long term (textile) partner.  This has prompted the search for additional clothing optional events or locations.  From discussions with other naturists a great many events are indeed clothing optional but when you view the marketing / promotional material you would be hard pressed to realise this and many couples like ourselves would potentially miss out on such events believing them to be naturist only. We believe that we need to help provide a bridge in this knowledge gap to help many similar couples and you never know… it may just help some of our textile partners become far more comfortable with naturism and may just help them to take the plunge.
